Hadestown isn’t just a musical; it’s an experience that sticks with you long after the final note fades. The music pulls from a rich mix of blues, folk, and jazz influences, giving it that gritty, emotional edge that feels both timeless and deeply personal. Hadestown Broadway Live at Walter Kerr Theatre | New York – October 27th, 2026

The Walter Kerr Theatre is a charming slice of Broadway history that really pulls you in from the moment you step onto West 48th Street. Its restored facade and intimate size make it feel less like a giant industrial space and more like a cozy jewel box for theater lovers. Back in 2017, it gained a lot of praise for hosting the revival of Sunday in the Park with George, proving it’s still got that magic touch for staging unforgettable shows. But it’s probably best known for hosting the original run of Rent, which opened there on april 29, 1996, and changed the Broadway landscape forever. Seeing Hadestown in this venue is like stepping into a world where every detail matters, from the balcony offering a sweeping view to the mezzanine where you can escape the chatter of the crowd and really get lost in the music.
